I was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Mi. in 1974 I married Robert L. Brown, and in 1978 we moved to Dafter Township twenty six days after moving to Dafter our first son was born. Our first five years in Dafter we added three sons. In the late 80's my husband became treasurer after the passing of Isabel Young he finished her term he then ran for the office which I was his deputy. He held the treasurer job for four years, Caroline Haarala then became treasurer but unfortunately died before her term was done. Bob then took the job until it was time for an election. I then ran and won, I have held this office for twenty years.
