Robert currently works full time for the City of Sault Ste. Marie in the capacity of Ordinance Enforcement Officer and Carbide Dock Manager since 2008 after spending 18 years as a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker servicing customers in the automotive industry.
Born and raised in southwest Michigan, Robert graduated from Newaygo High School and Grand Rapids Community College. Since making the trek across the Mighty Mac Robert is has become an active member of the Michigan Association of Housing Officials and has served as the Vice President of the Mid-Michigan Association of Code Enforcement Officers. Robert also holds a Residential Builders License.

In addition to serving as the City’s Ordinance Enforcement Officer, Robert also serves Dafter Township in the capacity of Volunteer Fire Fighter holding State of Michigan Fire Fighter Certifications I and II and hazmat as well as Zoning Officer. In his spare time, he works and enjoys his farm with his family.

4. Must maintain records of Supervisor's Office

5. Responsible for Tax Allocation Board Budge

6. Develops Township Budget

7. Appoints some Commission Members

8. May call Special Meetings

9. Member of Township Elections Commission

10. May administer the Oath of Office
